Dress to impress – with a ‘Double Windsor’

There are no excuses now. Lets face it, we all know a double windsor knot looks the best. I only know of one guy, I should say gentleman, who can tie them, and tie them well. I think I’ve managed it on a couple of occasions, but I’m not so partial to wearing a tie myself.

Alas here is a little aid for you… I noticed it plastered across a wall along Bankastræti in Reykjavík. Looks like my fellow here jumped straight out of The Chap Magazine an excellent source of class and well worth perusing.

  1. Love the necktie instructional. But I’ve been a big fan of the Pratt, or Shelby, knot for decades. It has a nice medium width is absolutely symmetrical. Most other knots are either too bulky or too skewed for my taste.
